Loads really, so much in fact I can't go into the usual
(some say boring) level of detail...

|
Harnesses
fitted - I've been told these need to fit to the rollbar or at least
to go over it for SVA. Will wait and see... |

|
Sidepod lined and holes
cut for ventilation. Although you can't see it there are holes in
the front as well - should keep the exhaust cooler. |

|
Headlight bowls fitted
- hooray... |

|
... although managed
to put a couple of cracks in the nearside one - wasn't even done up
that tight... |

|
...and also not impressed
with the fit of them. Spent ages trying to get it right without success.
I'll have to come back to these - hopefully I can get some advice
as to how it should be done. |

|
Lined the aeroquip brake
lines - don't know why this is but I've seen it done on all Fisher's
cars so there must be a good reason. I'll find out and update this
later. |

|
Front grille sikaflexed
in place now - improves the looks quite a bit in my humble opinion. |

|
F1 style mirrors
fitted - will need to trim the backs of these with rubber for the
SVA edge testing.
You wouldn't believe how many injuries are caused by people being
reversed into and being scuffed slightly by a blunt wing mirror...
This isn't the best example of the SVA test being worthwhile -
still rules are rules and if I want to get on her majestys highway
then I need to comply. |

|
Got the seats back
from the factory following re-triming. Can't really see it in this
pic but has covered up the crappy bit quite nicely. Worth doing.
Also, as you can see - the harnesses are in and I've fitted my
carbon/kevlar tunnel top to match the seats. Not totally sure about
this, might have to go with straight carbon-fibre on the front section...
shame as it's not cheap to do this... |

|
Another view of the
carbon/kevlar tunnel top - along with the first showing of the dashboard.
Quite happy with the way it's going - there will be a glovebox
cut into this bit after SVA.
Note the shiny ally 5-bar flooring, shhh - don't tell anyone but
it's stick on. Looks the biz though and pretty tough - cheap to
replace if it does wear out as well... |

|
Ooooh - fancy schmancy.
If you don't like carbon-fibre then you're just going to hate my
car. Still, I can rip it all out and do something different in a
couple of years if I get bored of it. |

|
Another view of the
dash - digital display is recessed to give it a bit more "character"
and production car look. Should stop the glare from the sun a bit
hopefully.
The dash is operated from the buttons just under the row of lights.
Still sticking with the theme of modern and classic combined -
carbon-mounted digital dash sits alongside olde worlde switchgear. |

|
OIL - that's all this
car ever asks for... |
 |
No - not a camera-defeating
number plate.
I just wanted to get the size and everything right for mounting
the plate. The chunky bolts are actually the number plate lights
as well... cool...
Gone right off the fog lamp - it's far too big. I'll get SVA out
the way and have a proper think about what I'm doing here. Even
considering cutting large vents as the rear bodywork will probably
create drag. |
