The Lotus Factory visit was courtesy of the Barchetta Owners Club - UK.

Unfortunately we weren't allowed cameras into the factory but luckily, with it being a Sunday we were able to walk the production line as opposed to standing at some distance.

Very interesting to see how these hand made cars are assembled (that being the Elise, Exige and Vauxhall's VX220) and how antiquated the Lotus Esprit production line still is. To say that it's similar build process to the Westfield built by MooSpeed is completely true - just a bigger garage (though not much) and with more expensive bits.
