Southern Mini Days
The Hop Farm is the current home
of the show and follows a similar format each year with events throughout
the day. It even has added attractions for those with no interest in the
Mini's (wives, kids, etc.). Southern Mini Days '97 was the first public
showing of the MooSPEED design on a mini. People obviously liked the idea
as the car was voted "Car of the Show". Two years later the next cow-car
was MooSPEED II, the Uno with attitude and an almost expired MOT. It was
duly cow styled and unfortunately met it's demise at the show under the
tracks of a tank. Southern Mini Days has a theme each
year. This year was something to do with pirates and one of the MooSPEED minis (Mr. Tickle) had the roof and windows cut off, wood-effect paintwork and sails to provide the full pirate ship conversion. We've never seen this modification
in Lax Power - they've just got no imagination.
