MooSpeed I - The First Episode
- Chassis - Race lightened via naturally occuring oxidisation method
- Engine - A-Series 1000cc
- Power - Sufficient, just like a Rolls-Royce
- Paintwork - Design inspired by intoxication whilst camping in a cow field, applied by MooSPEED (Paul and Steve) with additional detailing from members of public
- Demise - Driven in full cow regalia for a couple of months before being unceremoniously scrapped
When MooSpeed was first formed we needed to produce an example of the true capabilities of a racing team with a budget of £15 was capable of.
Although decades in the planning
stages the standard was set when MooSpeed burst onto the scenes in 1997
at Southern Mini Days with it's first cow-coloured car. Our expectations
for the initial public exposure of our bovine fantasy was exceeded with
MooSpeed I appearing on regional TV and going on to glory winning the
Car of Show award. 
MooSpeed I was a leading edge example of what
could be acheived with a few tins of paint, a rubber glove and copious
amounts of alcohol.
